Kim & Ben are professionals with a great sense of humor and personality.  Their wedding at the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park is a perfect example of tasteful elegance.   A sophisticated palette of charcoal and white linens and florals complimented the soft yellow walls and gracefully arched stage of the beautiful Concert Hall.  Lush floral arrangements of varying height from Statice Floral added visual texture in the high ceilinged room while a masterpiece cake from Shamane’s Bake Shoppe fashioned as gift boxes with pearl beads, fondant charcoal ribbon, and exquisite sugar flowers and surrounded by assorted mini-desserts on white pedestals adorned one side wall.  Personalized menus, table numbers, and signage with a custom crest reflected a love of wine and the theme was carried into wine cork escort card holders, labeled candies on the tables, and wine stopper guest favors.

During their outdoor ceremony back dropped by mountain vista, the pair poured themselves each a “unity shot” of Angel’s Envy Bourbon Whiskey from their engraved flask and toasted their marriage—a unique twist on the traditional unity ceremony.  Two other “shots” taken by the talented Armitage Photography and orchestrated by DJ, Pure Energy Events, were taken from the second floor balcony and inspired by a concept from “The Shining” (which had its original inspiration from the Stanley Hotel).
