Whimsical Chic Mountain Wedding at Ten Mile Station, Breckenridge

Jessica and Phil are a fun-loving stylish couple who live in Denver and love the mountains. A secluded mountain in the National Forest of Breckenridge became the site of their summer wedding, beautifully photographed by Brinton Studios. Jess and Phil added their own touches of playful whimsy and chic style to Ten Mile Station, with its mountain lodge architecture, vintage mining town décor, and dramatic views of snow-touched peaks.

The airy arch of curly willow adorned in yellow orchids (fabulous work of Statice Floral) was flanked by bridesmaids in chic white and charcoal striped dresses decked in pearls and groomsmen in yellow ties with succulent boutonnieres accented in yellow billy balls. Inside his pocket, Jessica’s father carried a sweet note from his daughter, thoughtfully embroidered on a handkerchief for him. Jessica was stunning in her mermaid gown from Alvina Valenta, purchased at Denver’s couture salon, Anna Be.

Weathered wooden photo frame favors doubled as escort cards during cocktail hour, directing guests to their tables styled with yellow chevron runners, mercury glass candle stands, and whimsical centerpieces that reached toward a towering ceiling against breathtaking mountain views. Strings of heart confetti cascaded from one of the photo displays while a wooden crate offered dancing shoes for the party. A metallic “Mr & Mrs Ruiz” glinted atop the ribbon-frosted cake finished in a light yellow ombre fade. The evening finished with flare as Jessica and Phil made their exit under an arch of sparklers amid the cheers of happy guests.
