When a rapper marries Miss Colorado (2011), the party is bound to be electric, especially considering the two of them met as entertainers working for one of our favorite companies, Dance Trax Productions.  They know how to throw a party!  And when mom is also a former Miss America AND has friends with loads of candles, the style, endearing charisma, and decorating possibilities are pretty much perfect.  We’re thrilled to share some gorgeous artsy photos of the memorable soiree from Selah Photography.

The texture and flicker of candlelight back-dropped a thoughtful ceremony between graceful columns at Denver’s Park Church.  Laughter mixed with applause as the newlyweds walked out to a rap song Russ had written and produced for that moment.  His live performance, rapping to Diana as they were introduced into the Space Gallery reception met even louder enthusiasm and kicked off the party with a playful spirit.  Gold place settings on black linen set a classy modern tone around a romantic setting of candles and calla lilies , unique on each table (beautifully designed by Becky, Diana’s mom).  When it Was Band played smooth jazz to an appreciative audience as guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio under festive market lights and Dwight from Dance Trax crushed the dance floor after an exquisite dinner from All Love Catering.

Beautiful.  Intentional.  Fun-loving.  With a wildly enjoyed dance floor.  An absolute honor and pleasure to be part of!
