Some Background: Owner and event specialist, Jessica Adler, has 20 years of industry experience including catering, conference, wedding, and event coordination at the Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver, the Renaissance Suites in Broomfield, and UMC Catering on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder. Born in Arizona and raised in Telluride, Jessica has lived in the Boulder-Denver area since 1993. A certified wedding planning professional, she began her own business in 2003. JA Special Events has an outstanding support staff, numerous references, and connections with many of the area’s most reliable and talented wedding and event service providers. We specialize in weddings and mitzvahs and have had the honor of working with couples and families and couples from around the United States as well as international clients.
My Philosophy: Being part of the planning and celebration of a wedding is a special privilege and honor. I love to assist my clients in designing and creating their special moment. Rather than dictate how weddings should be, I like to get to know every bride and groom as individuals and as a couple so I can best offer advice, suggestions, vendors, and services that will best accommodate their preferences and personalities while always keeping budget in mind. In order to select the style of wedding that best captures your vision of your day, we get to know your preferences and personality while accommodating your budget and specific needs.
My Inspiration: My husband is such a significant and motivating force in my life and my business. He enables me to create and live my dream of being a wedding and event coordinator and has previous experience in the event and catering industry providing solid assistance when required. Working from home so I can be with my precocious and incredible daughter offers me flexibility and freedom not available to someone working from a satellite office. My daughter has even made her own contributions to my business by offering her flower girl services to numerous wedding couples over the past nine years. Aron and Kayla bring more inspiration, joy, and fulfillment to my life than I ever thought possible.
